ARQUUS : at the hearth of SCORPION program
As a major player, Arquus is participating in the development of the new generation of French Army vehicles :
- The Multi Role Armored Vehicle GRIFFON
- The Armored Reconnaissance and Combat JAGUAR
Both are built thanks to a joint venture (ARQUUS, THALES and NEXTER). Let's discover the context, the stakes and the role of ARQUUS in the SCORPION program.
The Multi Role Armored Vehicle GRIFFON is a 6x6 wheeled armored vehicle developed as part of the SCORPION EBMR program launched in 2014. It will mainly be used as a troop transport vehicle to replace the VAB currently used by the French Army.
The JAGUAR is an armored reconnaissance and combat vehicle. As part of the SCORPION program, it will gradually replace 248 AMX 10 RC and SAGAIE vehicles over the next decade. With its main asset being its versatility, this 25-ton midsize tank can be perfectly integrated into combat in urban or mountainous areas.
