SIGNATURE OF A HERITAGE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE RENAULT HISTORY ASSOCIATION AND ARQUUS

ARQUUS is partnering the Renault History Association to contribute to the preservation and promotion of the Renault and ARQUUS heritage. From the FT 17 to the Griffon, the names of both Renault and ARQUUS are closely associated with armed forces vehicles.

ARQUUS signed a partnership agreement with the Renault History Association on 25 February 2020 to boost its heritage promotion efforts. This collaboration calls to mind the long-standing connection between ARQUUS and the famous diamond Renault logo. ARQUUS was a part of the Renault group until 2001.

Involved in Paris taxis since the battle of the Marne, Renault proved its industrial weight during the First World War, supplying trucks, armoured vehicles and tanks. The FT 17 remains a shining symbol of technical progress, with its contribution to the war effort and the combined work of industry and the armed forces.

Although the two companies have moved in different directions over the past nineteen years, they still share the same interest in preserving their shared history and heritage.

This partnership is only set to get stronger through the completion of studies and the organisation of meetings in line with the history of the Renault group. It will also enable the creation of an exhibition on industrial issues during the First World War.
