Innovation at the core of our industrial partnerships

Since the outset, Arquus has developed a comprehensive industrial cooperation strategy with partners from many different sectors.

Strong in-house innovation

Our design departments employ more than 300 engineers with expertise in design, simulation and validation which means we can develop our own engine, hull, axle, suspension, nautical propulsion and protection solutions. Our innovative approach concerns the entire range of components and functions of our protected land vehicles: mobility, protection/survivability, integration of weapons systems, ergonomics, remote weapon systems, and so on.

An industrial cooperation strategy

Arquus develops an industrial cooperation strategy in order to reduce costs, propose increasingly innovative solutions and create a network of reliable partners in the long term. We build alliances in France and across the globe with the giants of industry.

In Arquus, our partners find a reliable ally, with advanced technology at its fingertips, capable of mastering complex industrial processes and achieving a constant high standard of quality. We can thus provide à la carte services that combine technology transfer with the joint development of new, complete products.

A close partnership with institutional stakeholders

We maintain close ongoing ties with the main institutional stakeholders: the defense procurement agency (DGA), the Armed Forces Central Command and the Army Command.

Cooperation is based on battlefield studies and upstream study programmes. Two examples are:

  •  the Prophète study on maintenance rationalisation systems,
  •  the Electer study on a parallel hybrid propulsion demonstrator installed on the VAB MK3.

In Arquus, our partners find a reliable ally, with advanced technology at its fingertips, capable of mastering complex industrial processes and achieving a constant high standard of quality.
