Innovate to protect

Arquus' ambition is to enable men to carry out their mission by providing them with vehicles combining spped, protection, and firepower.

PROTECTING THE SOLDIER: OUR PRIORITY

As a designer of armored vehicles intended to be used in crisis situations and in combat, Arquus ensures with the utmost rigor their reliability by the complete control of the value chain from the creation of CAD views to customer service.

Attentive to the evolution of the defense ecosystem and considering operational feedback, Arquus has perfectly identified the threats its customers are facing. With the increasing complexity of the battlefield and the advent of high-intensity combat, the level of requirements for protecting crews and maintaining vehicle integrity is increasing.

Design : our how-know

The design of each vehicle is the result of a fine-tuned equation between the expected level of protection, the acceptable mass for the intended use and the definition of a reasonable cost given the positioning.

Thus, the choice of materials, the design, the armament, the defense bricks, or the systems used are all criteria to be balanced in order to design vehicles capable of fulfilling specific missions, whether it be reconnaissance, combat or troop transport.

The constraints inherent to the design of medium and light armored vehicles require the development of compact solutions.

These solutions allow the integration of innovative and efficient soft-kill defenses on architecture that combine component strength and system ergonomics.

Arquus is constantly working to consolidate its cyber protection to guarantee the integrity of its embedded computer systems. Its contribution to the drafting of the Scorpion program's security base gives it the assurance of offering its customers secure systems that are regularly updated

Investing in r&D

In order to anticipate future needs, innovative solutions are developed, in particular through upstream research programs. Research into new, lighter, and less expensive alloys and materials, the ability of vehicles to absorb blast energy, and the mastery modern manufacturing processes such as 3D printing all contribute to state-of-the-art-protection.

Arquus also seeks to improve the stealth of its vehicle with the means to escape detection in all ranges of the visible and invisible spectrum. By surrounding itself with qualified partners who are experts in their field, Arquus integrated reliable, innovative, and protected systems on its chassis and monocoque bodies.

Matching the right elements of active, passive, and cyber protection to achieve strong synergies is one of Arquus' core business.

Its vehicle are combat-proven and certified by independent specialized organizations recognized by its governmental customers.
